The Unit returns to the 87 Plus

A Master in the Shadows of Temple Ground…

It’s five to eleven. The rainy season has started and it’s drizzling outside.Yet, it’s one of those perfect Sunday mornings when the city is at its best; a sleeping giant; a metropolis in Southeast Asia. We’re waiting for the red light to turn green; the windshield wipers are squeaking and I’d like to tell the driver to turn them off but, my thoughts are pre-occupied. In my mind there’s a flashback of me, at the age of fifteen, on my way home after having been at a friend’s house listening to the groundbreaking album “Spectrum” for the first time. The taxi pulls into Bangkok’s Landmark Hotel and I realize, I’m about to meet a legend… .

D.O.G. returns to Noriega’s

D.O.G., the British inspired rock band, will be returning to Noriega’s this Saturday, September 9th after 8:30 pm. Their show will feature a set of accoustic music, two drummers, and brand new original material. Chris Roche, a member of the band, promises it will be “quite good fun.”
