Bangkok-based Billy The Mountain have won a second Band For The Day award with the band’s classic song ‘Mem Will Dance’ topping the chart from the moment it hit the global airwaves, and attracting the most votes in a single day on the UK-based site www.bandfortheday.com.

Band manager Tom Gray said the band will upload a third track from their new album Drifting To Valhalla today to the site and once again go head-to-head with the worldwide competition. If they win with a third song, they automatically enter the site’s Hall Of Fame and become eligible for a variety of awards, gigs and offers - including a potential record deal, he says.

“But really we’re just so pleased to see the music being accepted in the UK - still one of the most critical music markets in the world and the only place to ‘happen’ for any band with British connections,” Gray said.
