• Eighties rock band BLUE OYSTER CULT has been touring again and headlined at The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills (L.A.) recently. Their explosive performance included both hits and new material and showed that the band still has the grit that made them great.
• Legendary performer Joe Cocker knocked out the audience at the Wiltern in Los Angeles recently. The performance included new songs from his latest Universal Music Enterprises release, Heart & Soul, on New Door Records / UMe
• THE WALLFLOWERS made a stop at Hard Rock Café in Boston to promote their new record “Rebel, Sweetheart”. During the intimate event with fans and music industry execs, frontman Jacob Dylan and the band played tracks off their new album and some of the band’s older tunes. After the performance, the musicians mingled with guests, signed autographs and posed for pictures. The band also signed a Hard Rock Café Boston City T-shirt which will be framed and added to Hard Rock’s world-famous memorabilia collection.

• Iggy Pop has been kicking everyone’s butt since the Stooges smashed their way to
  iconic heights. In honor of one of rock’s true heroes, Virgin/EMI Music will release two
  collector packages in July: A Million in Prizes: The Iggy Pop Anthology, a two-CD set of Pop’s most exciting moments (with the Stooges and as a solo artist); and, a never-before-released concert DVD Iggy Pop: Live From The Avenue B.
• Warner Music Group (WMG) has named Jill S. Krutick Senior Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Development.
• Trustkill Records has named Robert Dippold General Manager. Previously, Dippold served in a marketing capacity at Warner Mussic Group’s W.E.A. Corporation. Prior to that, he operated as General Manager of RuffHouse/Columbia Records and Executive Vice President / General Manager of RuffNation/Warner Brothers Records.
