Carmen Bradford coming to the Sheraton’s Living Room
Carmen Bradford, a double Grammy winning vocalist, is coming to Bangkok to perform at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit’s The Living Room lounge for only two weeks starting February 15. She will be joined by the Bandleader Summit, a group named for their three celebrated bandleaders, Jeremy Monteiro, Eldee Young and Tama Goh.
The daughter of legendary trumpeter-composer Bobbie Bradford, Carmen Bradford is one of the most exciting and sought-after vocalists in jazz today. She got her start with the celebrated Count Basie Orchestra, and she performed on two of their Grammy-winning albums. Since then she has had a hugely successful solo career, both onstage and as a recording artist. Highlights include an appearance on the Benny Carter Songbook Project, which also won a Grammy, an album and performance with Wynton Marsalis at the Lincoln Center, and four concert tours with Doc Severinsen and his Orchestra. She is also an instructor of Jazz vocals at the University of Southern California.
Bandleader Summit have joined join forces for the first time in this extended run.
