Graham Nash revealed on CNN’s Larry King Live that his longtime bandmate Stephen Stills has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Nash, who appeared on the program via phone along with Joe Walsh, was on the show to pay tribute to singer-songwriter Dan Fogelberg, who died on Sunday December 16th following a three-year battle with prostate cancer.

While the name of pop diva Madonna in the recent announcement of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 2008 inductees struck many “rock ‘n’ roll” fans as curious (though no stranger than the 2006 induction of jazz great Miles Davis), inclusion of the best selling instrumental rock group of all time, The Ventures, is a good albeit long overdue fit.
