Chai Blue and the Blues Maniac
Lead guitarist Chai Blue and with Kay on slide guitar have been playing at the Saxophone Bar in Bangkok since it opened in 1987. Both are considered top notch blues guitarist. The rest of the bank consist of Poo on Harmonica, Bonchai on Drums, and John Dooley on bass guitar. They normally play on Friday and Saturday night at the club.

We got a keyboard player now too. His name is Bump. He teachers at Mahidol. Just finished studies in Switzerland. A really great musician and welcome addition to the band.

I saw Chai Blue and the Maniacs several times at Saxaphone when I lived in Bangkok - fantastic music, immense talent, thank you for bringing a sparkle to my friday nights! Ever thought of putting yourselves about globally?? I think you could really make it big in London!! Have you got any music to download? I want to tell all my friends about you!

Hi Blues Maniacs!
I’ll be in Bangkok for a two day trip next week. I’d like to catch you at the Sax on Friday night. As I’m a music lover, taper and jambands-freak, do you think it’s possible to record your show?
