Dylan Puts 3-Disc Rarities Set Together
Bob Dylan has put together a three-disc rarities set, called Tell Tale Signs, which will be released on October 7th. According to Billboard.com, the collection spans the past two decades of Dylan’s career, featuring bonus tracks from sessions for Time Out of Mind, Modern Times, Oh Mercy and World Gone Wrong. One track, called “Dreamin’ of You,” is already available as a free download on Dylan’s website. This will mark the eighth volume of Dylan’s ongoing Bootleg Series. Previous volumes have included classic concerts as well as studio outtakes.
Also on the set are songs Dylan recorded for soundtracks, including “Huck’s Tune” from Lucky You, “Cross the Green Mountain” from Gods and Generals, and the “The Lonesome River” from Clinch Mountain Country. The set will feature live selections from 2004’s Bonnaroo festival, as well as an intimate performance at New York’s Supper Club and a gig from London.
Dylan is out on the road this summer. His next show is slated for August 8th in Philadelphia.
