Eugene Hideaway Bridges electrified Bangkok blues club

The “Jungle Vine” column by Robert Lorimor
Eugene Hideaway Bridges is the cousin of singer Tina Turner and he has the voice to prove it. His performance electrified a full house crowd who had come to listen to the up and coming blues legend at Tokyo Joe’s this last Wednesday night. His guitar play was masterful—but it was Eugene’s bluesy-sweet voice that garnered the most comments. I must agree.
In addition, to the credit of the Jungle Band, I heard many comments about how well they were backing up Eugene. Way to go, guys!
The Jungle Band was comprised of Jay on bass, Sabai on lead guitar and Nutt on drums.
