GMM Grammy releases new Sek Loso album

Loso is one of Thailand’s unique rock bands, who work extensively with overseas musicians. There are three members, Saksan Sukpimay (Vocals, Guitar), Kittisak Khotkam (Drums) and Apirath Sukkhajitr (Bass). They have released several albums since the year 1996, including Lo Society, Loso Entertainment, Loso Rock & Roll, LOSOLAND and Loso Pok Dang (Red Cover). Before Sek, the band’s vocal leader and songwriter left Thailand to study in England, he had released his private album 7 Singha (August 7), for saying goodbye to his fans.
Finally, GMM Grammy Entertainment will please Loso’s fans by releasing the special albums, called “SEK LOSO THE COLLECTION”, which includes several of their greatest hits from every past album, such as Punthip (punk version), Somsarn, Jai Sung Ma, Kuen Jun and many more. “SEK LOSO THE COLLECTION” is now available in stores in Thailand. SEK LOSO is NUMBER ONE IN THE WORLD, as long as he sings in Thai (if in English, it sounds like any other rock artist). He´s light-years ahead of other artist. The closest bands who are to Sek are the following killer song makers: Bob Marley & The Wailers, and The Funk Brothers (60´- 70´s sound Motown) - by the way, these guys made hit songs (e.g Diana Ross & The Supremes) more than anyone on this earth. But Sek is SUPER talented man. Wish, he would never stop playing/singing/song making! My hero for sure.

Just seen loso tonight (7th oct) at xzite pattaya and he was absolutely superb…even better than last year. The place was packed and he rocked the house till well after 3am……..speechless!!!!

I am a songwriter/singer myself. I am just curious of where Loso usualy record their Albums. Can someone help? I am going to see if I have the possibility to record at that place. I like the sound they use.

I’m fairly certain that Loso uses a local studio to record. Let Sly Stone’s recent behavior be a lesson to you. Don’t get caught up in that mess.
