October 2nd “Bruce Springsteen Day…”
Earlier afternoon October 2 Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell issued a proclamation honoring “The Boss” and declaring October 2nd “Bruce Springsteen Day in Connecticut.”
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band officially kicked off their North American tour that night in Hartford, Connecticut and Springsteen also released his latest album, called Magic, October 1.
The two-hour, 23-song show began at 8:35 pm with a prop radio rising from the stage to introduce the lead track from the new album, “Radio Nowhere.”
