Rocky Horror Show at Noriega’s Saturday night
The Jungle Vine column by Robert Lorimor
This Saturday night down at Noriega’s, The Innuendoes are making their return by presenting a Pre-Halloween Rocky Horror Show in full drag! Knowing Ricardo, the band’s front man, this should be a beyond interesting performance. The words strange and bizarre come to mind. Tim Curry will be proud.
Now, some of you are wondering, “What happened to the Drunken Munkeys?” Richard has informed me by e-mail The Drunken Munkeys have decided change their name to Innuendoes. It wouldn’t be much of a big deal (it’s not, actually), but it was only last July when the Innuendoes gave their last performance (see story). It just doesn’t seem right to me. I think they should stick to Drunken Munkeys. The band’s name has already stuck and everyone is expecting to see the new Munkeys and their backup dancers.
But hey, either way, Munkeys or Innuendoes, it should be a night at Noriega’s you should not miss.

The Druken Monkeys show was one of the more energized shows iv’e seen in Bangkok in years. I’m glad to see a raw rock band with good players on the scene.
