Songkran Festival in Bangkok starts tomorrow

Songkran Festival 2006 in Bangkok begins tomorrow and ends on April 16. This fun-filled festival is being held every year throughout Thailand in the hottest season of the year. The highlights of the festival in Bangkok include water-throwing, dancing and musical performances, Buddhist Merit-Making at temples and Sanam Luang Royal Ground and much more. Some of the venues in Bangkok where most people go for Songkran are Khao San Road, Banglumpoo, Sanam Luang, Suan Santichai Prakan, and Temples in Ratanakosin Island.
