The latest news from the Koh Samui Music Festival is that James Brown is no longer attending, but Jools Holland is confirmed. This is of course only good for music fans, as I have repeatedly heard that these days James Brown gigs are primarily done by the band, with the Godfather of Soul usually making a 20 minute appearance.

    If you didn’t see James Brown prior to 1986 or so, you’re better off listening to his CDs anyway.
