The Grand Master of the Groove, Marcus Miller took Miles Davis willingly into virtually unexplored groove territory now taken for granted in the world of jazz and popular music. Here’s Marcus doing it with Miles, the pair cutting the music world a new asshole in the process and signalling the arrival of jazz funk to a world wondering at the time what Miles was going to do next. The answer was the album ‘Tutu’ masterminded and produced by Miller and here’s the title track.
