Thailand celebration of their King makes International News

“Was there a lot of people? There were only people!” said one celebration attendee. “It was yellow as far as you could see.” The celebrations were in honor of Thailand’s King, Bhumibol Adulyadej, and his 60 years on the throne. He is 78 years old and is beloved in Thailand. Many of the celebrations throughout the Bangkok yesterday were attended by millions of Thais wearing yellow shirt. The streets and subways were jammed and yet many people were unable to attend the celebrations.
