Thais greet New Year with cheers

At the Suanlum Night Bazaar Beer Garden last night, about 2,000 Thais and foreigners celebrated the 2006 New Year. This year’s celebration at the venue was joyous and merry when compared to the somber celebration last year following the Tsunami Disaster. Photograph by Robert Lorimor
