“The Farang Show”

The Farang Show pilot was recorded in Bales Restaurant in Bangkok

The pilot for “The Farang Show” was recorded at Bale’s Restaurant located on Lat Phrao Soi 35 on Sunday, February 20. The show is hosted by Tony King and Cannonball appears as the house band. This may become the first bilingual show in Bangkok. The talk show will feature “farang” personalities, the Thai expression for foreigners. Photograph by Robert Lorimor.

    I agree, the lunch was crap! The show looked interesting. I wish they showed us video of some of the things they were having to explain to us. Interested to see the new show. The band looks a little old and tired compared to the young host. Music was too loud. The host was humourous. The singers were ok. The one guy from England who was former tv star (i never heard of him) was interesting and a good interview. The Elvis character was hard to understand. Good concept at first of show. I think if it has right production it could be a good show.
    Get a better catering company!
