The elections are gone and so has most of 2007…what do the Thais think of the year gone by? One site polled the art community and there are some out there who ain’t too pleased, although most are a touch self-centred. Surprised? No! It’s the polite way in Thailand to avoid controversy or making waves.

At least one of the respondents mirrored our own horror that Thaksin and his vile henchman Samak may well ride again.

And there’s a nice slice of modern Thai opinion that always helps to provide some kind of insight into how our friends see the everyday stuff we all know so well.
