ZZ TOP Eliminator Collector’s Edition DVD
ZZ Top is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its career-defining 1983 album Eliminator with an August 26th release of a remastered version of the original album pressing, including the rare original version of the smash hit “Legs.” There are seven bonus tracks as well — live versions of five Eliminator cuts, and both the single and 12-inch dance remix versions of “Legs.” The packaging also offers rare photos and extensive liner notes from longtime ZZ Top publicist Bob Merlis.
The DVD portion of Eliminator (Collector’s Edition) includes the iconic videos for “Legs,” “Gimme All Your Lovin’” and “Sharp Dressed Man” that turned ZZ Top from a boogie-based Texas three-piece into full-fledged MTV stars. Also included is the Claymation video for “TV Dinners.” In addition, the DVD has five live performances from popular British music TV program The Tube, including “Tube Snake Boogie,” which originally appeared on the 1981 album, El Loco.
A digital version of the CD portion of Eliminator (Collector’s Edition) will also be available beginning August 26th from all digital retailers.
